MIM Community Achievements Spotlight: A Year in Review

pre-MBA

To address the evolving challenges of contemporary times and provide comprehensive, verified knowledge to managers across diverse levels, MIM Business School has updated its program portfolio. In particular, detailed specializations have been developed within the Pre-MBA suite, offering four distinct areas of study this year.
The SE MBA program caters specifically to business owners, providing graduates with an internationally recognized diploma. The knowledge imparted to students is thoughtfully integrated into a global context, aligning with the best international approaches and standards.
The MBA program is ideally suited for top-level managers, owners, or CEOs in companies with a minimum of fifty employees, emphasizing a holistic approach over micromanagement. Focused on process building and an understanding of the intersection of all business functions, the program is licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, with graduates receiving a state diploma.
Within the Pre-MBA program portfolio, students can access foundational, focused, and concentrated knowledge. This spring, four groups will commence their studies, following a flexible algorithm for knowledge acquisition.
The Leadership program emphasizes skills essential for managers to comprehend individuals better and find optimal ways to motivate each team member based on their characteristics. The curriculum delves into managerial psychology, effective communication within the company with subordinates, colleagues, and management. A vital aspect of the program is a course on working with remote teams, a crucial skill in today's work environment. The primary focus is on the personal development of the manager as a team leader.
The Marketing program focuses on managing company functions and revenue generation. Students learn revenue management, systematic sales source building, as well as branding, positioning, and internet marketing. Primarily designed for industry professionals, the program also benefits non-marketers seeking to understand and develop cross-disciplinary competencies.
The Finance program targets managers and top executives seeking to decipher the financial aspect of a business. Covering areas such as controlling, investment and financial management, financial indicators, and reporting, this functional program establishes a solid foundation for analyzing financial documents and understanding the true state of the company. It also includes the basics of strategic management.
The Business program, the largest in the Pre-MBA portfolio, amalgamates components from the three preceding programs, providing skills that can serve as a springboard for further career growth for a top manager of a small company or a middle manager in large corporations.
"The philosophy of our MBA and Pre-MBA programs remains consistent. Our esteemed faculty members teach both, albeit in different ways and scopes. This is crucial because business owners often enroll in Senior Executive MBA programs, and offer their middle managers to pursue Pre-MBA programs. The objective is to ensure a shared language and understanding among team members, eliminating the need for extensive explanations post-graduation," explains Oleksiy Vynogradov, Vice President of MIM Business School.
