In just a couple of days, a cohort of MBA students is set to embark on their academic journey at MIM — a group of individuals committed to investing in their personal and professional growth, undeterred by the challenges of the times. The decision to pursue education amidst the backdrop of war may raise eyebrows, but recent graduates from our Business School emphatically answer such skepticism. Beyond the acquisition of academic knowledge, MIM serves as a crucible where leaders and managers mutually enrich one another with diverse experiences, knowledge, and foster resilience in the face of daily challenges.
One such graduate, Tetiana Filipovych, MBA 2022-2023, and Marketing Director at Premier Hotels Ukraine and Meest Post Poland, reflects on the profound impact of the MBA during these tumultuous times. “It was difficult to continue studies amidst a full-scale war, but the MBA not only provided a lifeline for me but also for many classmates, offering a sense of unity and purpose. The program became a personal challenge, an avenue to discover new opportunities, and a means to stand resilient in the face of adversity,” Tetiana said. 
Similarly, Pavlo Radchuk, MBA graduate 2022-2023, Deputy Director for Development and Promotion of Medicines at CRKA Ukraine, shares sentiments of leaving MIM not just with knowledge but with a wealth of emotions gained through interactions with colleagues and teachers. "Learning transcends mere information and knowledge, shaping one's personality. Despite initial reservations about the weekend schedule, I found joy in live interactions with classmates, making the experience both pleasant and effective,” Pavlo emphasizes.
Tetiana Tymchenko, MBA 2022-2023 graduate and Chief Financial Officer of Nova Poshta, highlights the expansive horizon that an MBA at MIM provides. “The program deepens skills across various business domains, offering a comprehensive understanding of company operations. However, the value of communication with classmates—remarkable individuals from diverse backgrounds, providing a vast source of information and advice goes beyond the curriculum. The collaborative mix of finance, IT, and business owners creates a vibrant environment for continuous learning and meaningful connections,” Tetiana underscores.
